• Vertical Blinds
Lancashire Sunblinds & Solar Control Ltd have a large selection of fabrics from the budget range upwards. We also provide a curved headrail to accommodate bay windows. The avoids the need to fit 3 or more headrails in the same window. Have you a sloping window in your house? We can manufacture vertical blinds in a triangular format.

• Electrified Vertical Blinds
This is a standard vertical blind which has a small motor which allows remote operation of the blind. The standard settings allow the vanes to be tilted through 180 degrees and to automatically set at 45 & 80 degrees along with the capability to draw back and across, all this at the push of a remote button. A further option is light sensor which will close the blind as darkness approaches and open it at daybreak. Quote Powershade

• Roller Blinds
A simple and stylish way to afford privacy to virtually any window. Choose for hundreds of fabrics with s choice of bottom finishes from straight and scalloped bottoms with stylish braids. Also available are scallops with poles through in either wood ore metal.

• Venetian Blinds
A perennial favourite. Venetians have travelled a long way since the days of the white 50mm wide slat. They are now come in 4 slat widths with literally hundreds of colours to choose from. One of the new colours ranges if the "Aliwood" a process where by an image of wood is transferred onto the slat. From a short distance the image is of a real wooden blind. Real wood blinds are also in the portfolio. These come in three width 50mm, 35mm and 25mm.

• Pleated Blinds
Often used in conservatories the pleated blind is available in different guises. Ordinary fabrics for the less sunny windows, fabrics with a backing to protect it from the harmful rays of the sun and the cellular fabric which gives extra insulation. The pleated blind is also ideal for the odd shaped window as are often found in the roofs of conservatory.

• Curtain Tracks
Though not obvious from the company title curtain tracks are supplied and fitted by our company. In fact we were fitting curtain tracks and poles long before we started in the blinds business. We have access to a wide range of systems from the lowly plastic track to the state of the art electrical systems.

• Cubicle Tracks
This service is really for the medical profession although we have fitted these in the educational sector. These track are available in shower cubicle form for over baths.

• Intu Blinds
These are new development which allow the blind to be fitted onto a UPVC windows or conservatory without the need to drill into the plastic. Available in the venetian and pleated formats it is an exceptionally clever solution to dressing modern windows.

• Insect Screens
Bothered by those annoying bugs and flies during the summer months when you want the doors open? We supply and install a range of insect screens. The different formats allow vertical operation, side operation and the use of chain to raise the screen when not in use.

• Conservatories to hot?
If you don't fancy replacing your glass roof with a solid one the way not fit pleated blinds. These fully retractable blinds offer you the convenience of cutting out as much roof sun as you wish. A cheaper alternative is to fit heat reflecting film to the roof. Our fully trained staff can advise you on the best option available to achieve your goals.

• Windows Film and Manifestations
There are many uses for window film. Turn a plain glass into opaque with the simple application of window film. Manifestations allow logos or any design to be added to glass. This allows the plain glass to have a highlight which points to the fact that glass is present. Particularly advantageous when patio doors or glass walls are present. Almost everybody has walked into one of these at some time. (watch You've Been Framed). Heat retention or exclusion is another job for film, particularly in glass roofed conservatories.
